Krzysztof Nowakowski is a Managing Director of Korn Ferry since 2001 leading the Warsaw office. He specializes in C-level recruitment for clients in financial services private equity telecommunications and media with additional focus on digital transformation financial management and risk. He is an expert in consulting for change and transformation senior executives' development and team effectiveness.

For over 25 years of professional activity he has developed considerable expertise in management consulting, corporate finance and government affairs, and worked across a wide range of industry sectors in Poland and CEE.

Before joining Korn Ferry Mr. Nowakowski worked as a director with BNP Paribas's corporate finance team in Warsaw, and as a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton. He worked and managed assignments with Fortune 500 companies, international financial institutions and governmental agencies. He also led a number of pioneering infrastructure and public utilities development projects in a public-private partnership. In the early 90's, Mr. Nowakowski was privileged to take part in the democratic reforms in Poland. He was government and parliament assistant to the minister in charge of local government reform. Subsequently, a manager and advisor to a number of international programs aimed at support of development of civic infrastructure in Poland, and a program director in a governmental agency managing European Union aid funds, where he run projects of restructuring and privatization of municipal enterprises.

Mr. Nowakowski is a member of the Board of the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, president of Friends of the Museum of Modern Art, and a member of the board of Chart of History foundation preserving the history of Polish-Jewish relations.

Mr. Nowakowski holds a Master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Warsaw. He earned an MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota and the Warsaw School of Economics. He also holds an Executive Master in Consulting and Coaching for Change from the INSEAD business school.
