Marcus Downing is a Senior Client Partner based in Korn Ferry’s London office.

Mr. Downing supported a leading multinational insurance organization develop its overseas people proposition and ensure the right structures were in place to support these in practice.

He assisted two major global banks integrate across Asia Pacific so that they could fully realize the value of their intangible assets.

He has supported a UK challenger bank to deliver on their people proposition in order to differentiate it in the marketplace.

He helped develop and deliver a leadership assessment and development program to ensure it kept its competitive position globally.

Mr. Downing works extensively with financial services companies globally, consulting across the full range of Korn Ferry offerings, personally specializing in leadership assessment, development and coaching.

His extensive managerial experience prior to, as well as within, Korn Ferry ensures he is specifically focused on delivering tangible business results for the organizations which he works with.

Mr. Downing is accredited in a range of technologies both in Korn Ferry and from other organizations. These include work measurement, management development tools, coaching, reward, psychometrics, online diagnostics and behavioral assessment techniques. This breadth allows him to select the most effective methods which add value by suiting the situation and need of the organization.

Mr. Downing holds a BA in philosophy from University of Southampton. He holds a postgraduate diploma in human resources management from Thames Valley University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He has understanding in British Psychological Standards A and B.
