Marloes Schoonen is a Principal for Korn Ferry Hay Group, based in the firm’s Amsterdam office.

Ms. Schoonen excels in the 'hard' side of organizational change and is able to gain mutual confidence in achieving desired changes. She has the ability to persuade and convince stakeholders and to make connections across the organization.

Ms. Schoonen thinks and works with the business strategy in mind. In order to achieve change, she works with the possibilities and limitations in the organization’s structure, systems, governance, and culture. She adequately applies this into projects and actions to achieve the desired end results. 

Ms. Schoonen has experience in various industries with a focus on the business and financial services and retail. She has over 15 years of experience as a project manager, consultant remuneration and human resources manager, both as a consultant and as a staff member. Ms. Schoonen has a strong focus on achieving results and has a great sense of urgency, whilst keeping a close eye on stakeholder needs and expectations.

In her work for Korn Ferry Hay Group, Ms. Schoonen worked on several projects in the areas of pay and working conditions in various industries. Projects ranged from implementation & communication, flexible working, to interim management as compensation and benefits manager in an international context. 

Ms. Schoonen has a graduate degree in human resource studies from the University of Tilburg. After her studies she worked as a consultant in the field of change management for large change projects and on organizational structure and reward. Before she joined Korn Ferry Hay Group, she was responsible for the remuneration policy of the European division of a multinational.
