Martina Baker-Sohn is a Principal Consultant for Korn Ferry, based in the firm’s Toronto office.

Ms. Baker-Sohn’s multi-disciplinary approach to organizational effectiveness integrates human resource practices to help clients be more effective in workforce planning, performance management, talent management, and leadership development.

Ms. Baker-Sohn offers practical insights to guide clients on concepts, tools, and techniques that help organizations effectively implement strategic objectives at all levels. She works to draw together business, strategic planning, and human resources. She is recognized by clients for developing solutions that enable talent to drive organizational and personal performance and growth.

Ms. Baker-Sohn joined Korn Ferry through Korn Ferry in 2012 after having spent twenty years in leadership assignments in human resources and organizational development.

Her international work experience spans both private and public sectors, and a variety of industries, such as financial, education, consumer, and hospitality.

Ms. Baker-Sohn has significant experience in the areas of strategy development and execution, innovative thinking, change management and engagement, workforce planning, talent strategy and succession planning, leadership development and competency modeling, facilitation, assessments and coaching. Combined, her skills, experience and insights help organizations focus on talent investments that have the greatest impact on business results.

Ms. Baker-Sohn holds a master of science in educational leadership from the State University of New York and a bachelor of arts in French and psychology from Western University in Canada. She holds the Canadian designation certified human resources leader (C.H.R.L.)

Ms. Baker-Sohn is fluent in English, French and German, with working knowledge in Spanish and in Portuguese.
