Matthew Gurin is a Senior Client Partner for Korn Ferry Hay Group, based in the firm’s Princeton office.

Mr. Gurin has helped numerous clients resolve systemic quality and compliance issues, built the capabilities for a global center of excellence for clinical development in the Bay Area, and helped a client transform its capabilities and talent to compete in a digital-first landscape.

Recently Mr. Gurin advised a leadership team of a large pharmaceutical firm on the execution of a dynamic new innovation strategy for research and development.

With nearly three decades of consulting experience Mr. Gurin has worked extensively with life sciences clients to align strategy execution, organization design, and performance and rewards.

Mr. Gurin has worked across industries and functions from research and development to marketing, and from the C-suite to the plant floor. Throughout his career he has worked to support the evolution of the life sciences sector as it aligns more closely with the needs of healthcare providers and payers.

Mr. Gurin has spent time with clients to implement business and operating model changes, and to enhance capabilities and business outcomes, particularly in the areas of product development, commercialization, and business innovation.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College Mr. Gurin joined a predecessor to Deloitte where he consulted to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

While at Hay Group he pursued graduate studies in organizational theory at the University of Pennsylvania.
