With over 20 years of executive search experience, Mr. Mathis has successfully completed 300+ senior-level searches, partnering with organizations that include prominent nonprofit multi-hospital health systems, academic medical centers, portfolio investments of the private equity community, and managed care organizations. He is focused on leading a high emphasis on client satisfaction and continues to have a long history of client relationships leading to repeat business. Mr. Mathis's assignments in executive search span the C-suite with a focus on general management, finance, and physician leadership positions.

Mr. Mathis joined Korn Ferry in 1996 as a Research Associate, leaving to work for a nationally recognized boutique where he led all execution and research efforts for healthcare and technology clients. Upon returning to the firm in 2004, he quickly became an integral part of the team and held several positions prior to becoming Senior Client Partner in 2012.

Mr. Mathis demonstrates a broad range of philanthropic activities in the healthcare space and is involved in several industry organizations, including Healthcare Industry Council, Texas Hospital Association, and the DFW Hospital Council.

He received his bachelor's degree in human resource management from Baylor University.
