Michael McFadden



Michael McFadden is a Principal at Korn Ferry, based in the firm’s Toronto office.

Mr. McFadden has conducted hundreds of executive assessments across a wide range of organizational roles and industries in both selection and developmental contexts.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he was an organizational psychology consultant for SPB Organizational Psychology. Earlier in his career, he was a human resource business partner with Toyota Canada.

He specializes in leadership assessment, high potential development, organizational diversity, and team effectiveness, he is also an experienced trainer, who has facilitated numerous courses on a number of topics impacting a variety of human resource issues.

He has extensive experience developing competency models, providing coaching to middle and senior level leaders, and has facilitated a variety of workshops focusing on areas such as team effectiveness, emotional intelligence, and the use of psychometric tools for employee selection and development. He has also led the ground-up creation of organization wide diversity and employment equity programs.

Mr. McFadden holds a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor degree in management from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is certified in a wide range of psychometric tools including the Hogan and Lominger suite of assessments. He is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the Society for Human Resource Management, as well as the Psi Chi honor society.
