Nick Kemsley is a Senior Client Partner for Korn Ferry Hay Group, based in the firm’s London office.

Mr. Kemsley is a specialist in organizational development and capability, strategic workforce planning (SWP), talent management and HR effectiveness. The heart of his work has involved the translation of business strategy to people and organizational needs and the identification of critical risks to delivery –then partnering with senior leadership and HR to close critical gaps.

Mr. Kemsley has a combined multi-sector corporate, consulting and business school background. He is also a visiting professor at Henley Business School in the UK where he was a director of the HR center for five years. 

Mr. Kemsley joined Korn Ferry Hay Group after working as an affiliate and brings considerable experience working with CEOs, boards and HR leadership teams. His Areas of expertise include organizational capability diagnosis and organizational development, talent management, strategic workforce planning, HR capability, talent metrics, recruitment, learning and development, leadership development, employer value proposition, manager capability, and performance management. He has spent over twenty years in senior corporate roles at regional and global levels in the areas.

Prior to this Mr. Kemsley held roles in supply chain re-engineering, capital projects and program management. He has worked for companies including Mars Inc, BOC/Linde Group, Prudential, Rolls-Royce, GE/Alstom & Travelport.

In addition to speaking globally on topics such as strategic workforce planning and HR capability, Mr. Kemsley is a frequent contributor to journals and press and has published many research reports and papers on a variety of people and organizational topics. He graduated with a first-class honors degree in engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK and was awarded a visiting professorship at world-renowned Henley Business School.
