Rafael is a Senior Client Partner in Advisory, affiliated to the practices of Assessment & Succession, and Organizational Strategy.

He has more than 20 years of international experience in management consulting, advising diverse global and local organizations in integrating strategy, talent, organization, and behavior to resolve critical business issues.

Rafael joined Korn Ferry in November of 2007. He has developed his expertise in succession, talent strategy , performance management, organizational design, board effectiveness, and executive coaching.

Previously, Rafael was an Expert in Strategy & Corporate Finance at the New York office of  McKinsey & Company, and a Senior Vice President in the practices of Value-Based-Management and Corporate Finance also at the New York office of  Stern Stewart & Company. Before starting his career in management consulting,  Rafael worked in Colombia for the Bank of Bogota, The Inchcape Group, and Monsanto.

Rafael has a B.S. in Economics from the Universidad Javeriana of Bogota, an MBA from The University of Rochester (New York) and a McS in Behavioral Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Rafael is  Mentor for Endeavor,  and he was an Adjunct Lecturer in Talent & Organization at CESA (Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administracion, Bogota), as well as an Adjunct Lecturer in Leadership and Managerial Skills at the Executive MBA of the Prime Business School (Bogota). Rafael is fluent in English and Spanish.
