Richard Kantor is a Senior Client Partner for Korn Ferry Hay Group, based in the firm’s Stamford office.

Mr. Kantor led engagement with a financial services firm to create a reward package that better supported cultural shift, improved attraction and retention and saved more than $6,500 per employee per year. He crafted new global total rewards strategy and supporting programs for a major global technology company that led to the client becoming #1 career destination among engineering graduates and #4 among business grads.

Mr. Kantor partnered with a Fortune 50 manufacturing company to transform their approach to global performance and total rewards; in letter to shareholders, CEO attributed several successive years of record growth to the new approach. 

Mr. Kantor has 30 years of experience consulting with organizations on a broad range of human capital issues. He is one of the world’s leading experts on total rewards, having advised many of the world’s largest organizations on global total reward strategy and design to ensure strategic and cultural consistency. He has held leadership positions in the Americas, Asia/Pac and Europe, and has worked with clients on the ground in more than 75 countries to solve business problems via reward strategy and design.

Mr. Kantor is a well-known, highly regarded speaker, author, and thought leader on total rewards. He has lectured at the Anderson School of Management (UCLA) and at Manhattanville College. He has been a guest speaker on several occasions at the John F. Welch Leadership Center at Crotonville, NY. 

Mr. Kantor graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts with degrees in finance, international business, and economics.

English is his mother tongue; he also speaks French and Spanish.
