Rui Di is a Principal in Korn Ferry’s Global Consumer Practice in the Firm’s Chicago office, bringing more than 15 years of diverse experience in multiple facets of executive recruiting and talent strategy.

Ms. Di has worked with large global Fortune 500 companies and small- to mid-cap private-equity backed organizations. While her primary focus is on general management and P&L ownership roles, she has successfully placed executives in functional disciplines including: marketing, sales, operations and supply chain, human capital, and data analytics.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Di was with a premier hedge fund in Chicago where she led the build-out of the firm’s first centralized data organization. A large part of the effort focused on the establishment of a new data center and the recruitment of over 50 big data executives to the firm in less than a year.

Ms. Di gained her executive search experience with another global firm where she built a solid reputation as a result of her firm-wide contributions. Her early career includes various positions in human resources at top-tier companies that include Yahoo! and Jamba Juice. In these roles she developed strong knowledge and practical experience in staffing, retention, budgeting and overall human resource strategies.

A native of China, Ms. Di is fluent in both English and Mandarin, and has extensive international and cross-cultural experience that is part and parcel of her thirteen years spent in Asia. She earned her MBA from Kellogg School of Management and received her BS in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

Outside of work, Ms. Di is an active member of the Kellogg Alumni Admissions Organization. She also has a strong interest in tutoring and career coaching.
