Senior Vice President, Data and Analytics, KFI, IP Design

With over 20 years experience in Korn Ferry, Stephen is a senior leader with deep expertise across the entire spectrum of Korn Ferry IP.  He has a track record of bringing data-driven products to market and achieving impact through significant revenue streams and reduced operational complexity and cost.

In his current role, Stephen is responsible for the design and development of our IP, ensuring Korn Ferry’s extensive IP connects seamlessly:  integrating our heritage in work, job design, job evaluation and pay with our wealth of experience and tools to assess and develop people around traits, drivers, competencies, and experiences. This connected content will increasingly help us tell (and demonstrate) a seamless story between strategy, culture, work, job design, pay, capability, and talent, and will be delivered to clients’ through our Success Profiles at the individual, team and organization level: enabling us to provide insight not only about why a job exists and what it needs to deliver, but what the capabilities and skills of the individuals are that are needed to do the work, and what type of individual is most likely to thrive in that position.

Stephen is both conceptual and highly analytical, can solve complex problems and deliver deep insights.  He is an excellent communicator able to bridge the divide between strategic direction and a technical solution. He is highly pragmatic and able to de-fuse complex situations and a find a path forward even when one does not appear immediately obvious.

He has worked at a global level and has experience of Product Development, Product Management; Consulting; Commercial Management; Pricing; Operations; and Change Management.  He has specialist knowledge in HR; people development; leadership capability; psychometric and 360 assessments; Emotional Intelligence; e-learning; work measurement; and job design.

In previous roles, Stephen managed an extensive portfolio of assessment tools and led major redevelopments of our most valuable products including KF360 and Styles and Climate. Stephen has demonstrated not only an ability to fully revamp and update legacy product offerings, but also has an astute ability to manage the change process and achieve full client migration.  More recently, Stephen has managed our Success Profile library, growing it from 600 to around 4,000 profiles in 18 months.

Stephen has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Business Studies from the University of London, played volleyball at national level and is a keen cyclist, having represented his country at the Amateur World Cycling championships.
