Mr. Haussmann supports his clients in determining the right compensation levels and packages. His special focus is on variable pay, sales compensation, and total compensation packages.

As Practice Leader Reward Mr. Haussmann is responsible for further developing Korn Ferry’s consulting approaches in the reward area for Germany and Austria.

Thomas Haussmann has comprehensive know-how and experience in job evaluation, job families, compensation analyses, variable and sales compensation, long-term incentives, benefits, and total compensation packages. He is an expert for human resources due diligence in mergers and acquisition transactions.

Mr. Haussmann is the author of two reference books on variable pay and of numerous articles on compensation-related topics.

Mr. Haussmann studied economics and philosophy and holds a doctorate of philosophy. He started his professional career as an assistant to the publisher in a publishing company. Three years later, he joined Korn Ferry as a consultant. He then joined Heissmann GmbH, where he became a partner and was a practice leader for the human capital group of Watson Wyatt Germany after the merger of Heissmann and Watson Wyatt. In 2010, he returned to Korn Ferry.
