Tim Bartlett is a Principal for Korn Ferry Hay group, based in the firm’s Kansas office.

Mr. Bartlett works with boards of director and senior management on all aspects of executive and non-employee director pay.

Mr. Bartlett works with publicly-traded and privately-held companies, as well as not-for-profit organizations, as an advisor to compensation committees and senior management. He has partnered with clients across multiple industry sectors, including consumer goods, retail, insurance, utilities, industrial, financial services, and hospital/health care systems. 

Mr. Bartlett assists clients with all aspects of executive compensation, including design of compensation programs (base salary structures, short- and long-term incentives, executive benefits, and perquisites), development of compensation philosophies and alignment with business strategies, competitive measurement of compensation using private databases, published surveys, and proxy statements, regulatory issues involving taxation and securities law, non-employee director compensation design, and analysis of company financial performance, especially performance measurement for incentive compensation purposes. 

Mr. Bartlett received his juris doctorate from the University of South Dakota and his undergraduate degree in business management from William Jewell College. He is a Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) through WorldatWork and previously worked as the director, executive compensation for ConAgra Foods.
