Senior Client Partner, Strategic Accounts Retail and Consumer Goods

Virginia Bowden is a Senior Client Partner of Strategic Accounts Retail and Consumer Goods Industry sector based in Korn Ferry’s Philadelphia office.

Ms. Bowden joins us from Aon Hewitt, where she served as a Partner and Philadelphia Region Market Leader, and was responsible for helping to manage and expand Aon Hewitt’s presence in PA, DE and NJ. Prior to that, she was a Client Relationship Manager at Towers Watson where she managed complex global clients.

Ms. Bowden brings more than 27 years of experience working with large clients across multiple industry sectors including Retail, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Pharma. 

Ms. Bowden has partnered successfully with Retailer and Consumer Goods clients to overcome the challenges they face as they work to be profitable in a quickly changing environment while simultaneously taking care of a highly dynamic low paid workforce.

With a background in Organizational Behavior and Rewards, Ms. Bowden helps clients focus in on how to source, engage, motivate and reward workforces in an efficient and effective way linking these strategies to business outcomes. She has a passion around helping women, and specifically women in transition, succeed. She has served as the Board President of the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) in Wayne, PA and is now responsible for the Fund Development Committee of the WRC Board that is tasked with raising funds to support WRC programs.

Ms. Bowden has a BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan, a MS in OD from the University of Pennsylvania and a Paralegal Certification from the Philadelphia Institute in Employee Benefits. She wrote her Masters Thesis on the Price Elasticity of Health Insurance Premiums of the Working Uninsured looking at the difficult trade offs low paid employees make on a day to day basis and how it impacts their daily working life.
