Wilson Zhang is the Office Managing Director of Korn Ferry’s Guangzhou Office, leading the firm’s talent advisory business in South China, which includes the Leadership Consulting and Executive Recruiting practices. He is also a member of the national China practice of the firm’s Leadership & Talent Consulting business.

With over 15 years experience implementing talent management and leadership development solutions for leading organizations in Greater China, Mr. Zhang provides highly customized consulting services to address client’s strategic challenges in the region. Additionally, he acts as talent advisor to CEOs for multinational companies and Chinese companies in Greater China and an executive coach to many C-suite leaders.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Zhang was a CEO for a leading Chinese private financial services company focusing on online internet financing and offline customized solutions to SMEs.

Mr. Zhang was an organization development leader for Asia Pacific at Eaton Corporation, where he oversaw regional succession planning, change management, and organization
effectiveness, as well as its regional talent and executive development.

Earlier in his career, he was a senior consultant with Watson Wyatt and a principal consultant with GEC (a private consulting firm) respectively.

Starting as a HR management trainee, Mr. Zhang spent six years with P&G China, where he served as country training and development leader.

As an advocate of leading edge research and best practice on talent management and leadership development, Mr. Zhang is a frequent speaker at many high-profile HR events in China. Mr. Zhang is a research fellow in the Leadership Center of School of Economics and Management (SEM), Tsinghua University.

Mr. Zhang holds a Master‘s Degree in Material Science from Southern China University of Technology in Guangzhou.
