Korn Ferry, the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, established the Korn Ferry U.S. Government Consulting Services entity as a wholly-owned subsidiary to serve the unique talent needs and reporting requirements of the Federal Government. Underpinning our approach to talent is our new talent intelligence engine - Korn Ferry’s Four Dimensions of Leadership & Talent (KF4D) which harnesses the power of our research based intellectual property and provides our clients with robust diagnostics at both individual and enterprise levels. KF4D underpins our executive search and professional recruiting processes, leadership development and consulting, and recruitment process outsourcing engagements, as well as internal hiring and leadership development efforts.

Our team partners with the Korn Ferry Institute, the Korn Ferry research and analytics division, to perform research specific to the Federal Government mirroring our robust processes in the private sector to increase our understanding on how strategic talent decisions contribute to the accomplishment of the organizational mission.

As an example of our collaboration, we have constructed the only development resource customized for the Federal Government - FYI® for the Federal Government. Based on Korn Ferry’s preeminent development resource, FYI® for your improvement, we have mapped the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, our global competency framework global competency framework to the Office of Personnel Management’s Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Fundamental Competencies. This process required our team to create new development content for a competency that does not exist in our Korn Ferry Leadership Architect model and applies only to those serving in the public sector.
