It was the end of the 60s and a new championship title game with a grand sounding name—the Super Bowl—was just starting to get attention. One team, the Green Bay Packers, was lead by a head coach named Vince Lombardi, who would be on his way to becoming the league's most famous sideline leader. 

Years later, Kevin Cashman, global leader for CEO and Executive development for Korn Ferry, would be working with two CEOs from that very team. He describes here a surprising leadership lesson they shared from the coach.
