Executive to Leader Institute Awarded with Best Global/International Leadership Program Honor

LOS ANGELES, May 5, 2016 - The Hay Group division of Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, has announced that one of its flagship programs is the recipient of the prestigious Leadership Excellence Awards, which acknowledge the best leadership programs and executives in the United States. Produced by HR.com, the awards salute the top 10 percent of applicants across 34 categories.

The “Best Global/International Leadership Program” award honor was given to Korn Ferry Hay Group’s Executive to Leader Institute.

About Executive to Leader Institute (ELI)

Acknowledged by Fast Company as the “Mayo Clinic of Leadership Development,” the Executive to Leader Institute (ELI) accelerates readiness and uniquely equips executives for
C-Suite level roles and the challenges of leadership at an enterprise level.

The Korn Ferry Hay Group interdisciplinary team model and in-residence component is customized to meet the unique needs of each participant.

Throughout the process, ELI develops leaders from the “inside-out” by clarifying values, strengths, and core purpose, and from the “outside-in” through interviews, feedback, and multi-rater assessments.

To understand the effectiveness and the lasting impact of the ELI program, Korn Ferry recently conducted in-depth interviews with participants who took part in the program as far back as the 1990s. Despite having completed the program on average 7 years ago, the executives say they continue to apply learnings and insights gained from the program.

Indicating great satisfaction with their ELI experiences, 100 percent of the executives interviewed would or have already recommended the programs to their colleagues, peers, or direct reports.

“Most development programs for senior leaders focus too much on building transactive management skills, whereas ELI gets to the heart of transformative leadership: enhancing authentic self-awareness and fostering enduring purpose-driven enterprise impact," Said Kevin Cashman, Korn Ferry Hay Group Senior Partner and Founder of the Executive to Leader Institute. "ELI goes far beyond the typical coaching or leadership development program to establishing personal, team and enterprise change."

About Leadership Excellence Awards

Leadership Excellence Award recipients are selected based on an application and nomination process as well as voting by users of the leadership programs. More than 4,500 companies applied for this year's awards, and 600,000 people voted on their programs to provide the most comprehensive ratings ever produced. The Leadership Excellence Award winner rankings were recently presented at the LEAD2016 event at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
