




Bertrand Finet began his career in 1991 with 3i in London and later in Paris, before joining CVC Capital Partners in Paris in 1996, where he spent ten years. In 2006, he was appointed Managing Director of Candover’s Paris office. He then joined the Executive Committee of the French Strategic Investment Fund (FSI) in 2009.
In 2013, he became Executive Director of the SME Equity Fund at Bpifrance (the new name of FSI), before being appointed Executive Director of the Mid & Large Cap division at Bpifrance in 2015. Bertrand Finet joined Peugeot Invest at the beginning of 2017 as Deputy CEO and was appointed CEO in 2020. He left Peugeot Invest at the end of July 2024.
With over 30 years of experience in the investment sector, his background is both extensive and diverse. He has originated, executed, and managed numerous minority and majority investments in both listed and private companies at various stages of development.
He has also led many divestments through IPOs, block trades, and sales to strategic buyers or private equity funds.
Throughout his career, he has acted as both investor and manager across a wide range of structures, including Anglo-Saxon private equity funds (3i, CVC, and Candover), the French sovereign investment fund (FSI, later Bpifrance), and a listed family-owned investment company (Peugeot Invest).
He has developed strong expertise in corporate governance, having served as a director of more than 20 listed and unlisted companies, as well as a member or chairman of various board committees.
Bertrand joined the Paris office of Korn Ferry as Senior Client Partner in charge of the Board and CEO practice in November 2025.
