Amer Lakhani is a Senior Client Partner within Korn Ferry’s Financial Services practice and has over 17 years of experience in hiring executives and emerging leaders. Having started his career in London, he has been based in Dubai since 2012, covering the Middle East and Africa markets.
Amer is a trusted and strategic partner to his clients, which include top-tier banks, investment management firms (public & private markets), sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, real estate companies, large corporates, family-owned groups and public sector entities.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Amer spent 4 years as an Executive Director with EMA Partners, a London headquartered boutique search firm. Amer was a part of the founding team of the Dubai office and was instrumental in building the business from the ground-up.
He focused on supporting organizations with critical Board, C-level and Senior Management roles. Amer led the Banking and Financial Services practice for the region, however his expertise and track record also extended across other industries.
Amer spent the earlier part of his career covering Financial Services with Boyden and Sheffield Haworth.
He has an LLB (Hons) from Nottingham Law School and holds postgraduate qualifications in Mergers & Acquisitions and Equity & Debt Finance.
