Joana Cortez is a Senior Principal at Korn Ferry in São Paulo, working in the Transformation practice within the Advisory structure. Joana has been working in the field of Human and Organizational Development for 13 years, with extensive experience in Leadership, Culture, Change Management, Coaching, Assessment, Team Development, Career Transition, and Diversity & Inclusion.

During this period, she led projects for large national and international companies from various segments. Before joining Korn Ferry, Joana worked at LHH as Operations Director for the São Paulo region, where she led the commercial team for all consulting solutions. 

Prior to LHH, she worked at Fellipelli Consultoria as a Technical Project Leader, responsible for designing and delivering solutions and certifications.

Before her work in Organizational Development, Joana had corporate experience in Marketing and Communication at companies and advertising agencies, where she worked for over 10 years in both Brazilian and multinational organizations.”

Additionally, Joana has international experience; she lived in Singapore for 2.5 years with her family, where she also had the opportunity to work for a British recruitment consultancy with a branch in Singapore.

Joana holds a degree in Business Administration from PUC-SP, has a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience and Applied Psychology from Mackenzie University–SP, and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at FIA-SP.

She is certified in Neurocoaching by the NeuroLeadership Institute and has been working in Coaching since 2011, being certified by ICF as an ACC. Joana is also certified in Assessment tools KF4D, Hogan, MBTI Step I and Step II, SHL, Birkman, EQ-i 2.0, TMP, and TalentX7. 

She is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
