Edith Udemezue is a Senior Client Partner and the Life Sciences Market Leader, EMEA for Professional Search.

Her team collaborates with the Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Life Sciences Contract Services, Consumer Health, Animal Health, Nonprofit and Healthcare Services sectors.

With over 25 years of experience in Life Sciences Search, Edith’s own specialism is with Biotech and Pharma and across all areas of R&D – this includes Research, Clinical, Medical and Drug Safety.

She has worked in multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology/immuno-oncology, cardiovascular, metabolic diseases, neurosciences, and respiratory medicine; as well as rare diseases and gene therapy.

Edith brings deep industry knowledge, a consultative approach, and a commitment to helping businesses build their leadership capabilities, including the next generation of leadership talent needed to drive innovation and long-term growth.

Edith began her career at Zeneca Specialties, where she worked in peptide synthesis and antibody generation for discovery research.

She is the co-founder of Korn Ferry’s UK and Ireland Black Employee Network, a former mentor for Black British STEM (BBSTEM) and Increasing Black Representation (IBR) and serves as a co-opted governor for a local primary school.

Edith holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Nigeria.
