Tom Gehrlein, Ph.D.

Mr. Gehrlein partners with clients to develop leaders, particularly pivotal talent; identify and assess high potentials; and coach executives across diverse organizational functions and businesses. Industries he works with include consumer, energy, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, and technology.

As an executive coach, his approach is direct and supportive, focused on practical results. His areas of coaching specialty include high potential development, onboarding, career transitions, wellness and remediation. Clients he coaches are successful business leaders facing complex and shifting challenges. Each step in a coaching engagement is customized to the individual's needs and goals, and designed for tangible results and sustainable change.

Mr. Gehrlein joined the Firm via PDI Ninth House, a Korn Ferry company, in 1992. Prior to that, he was a consultant with Arthur Andersen in Houston.

Mr. Gehrlein earned his doctoral and master's degrees in industrial/organizational psychology and his bachelor's degree in management and psychology from Rice University in Houston.
