Michael Givner

Since joining Korn Ferry in 2012, Michael has partnered closely with leadership teams of major financial institutions, banks of all sizes, fintechs and specialty finance companies across North America. He has a deep understanding of the competitive market, regulatory and governance environment, and talent landscape surrounding banking, lending and payments businesses. Michael has successfully placed hundreds of financial services executives in senior leadership roles across a wide variety of business units and functions.

Prior to Korn Ferry, Michael spent several years with another search firm in Charlotte, North Carolina where he worked across the firm’s finance, banking and wealth management practices. He began his career in wealth management.

In addition to his practice leadership role, Michael serves on the Korn Ferry’s Promotions Committee, New York Operating Committee and various other firm-building forums.

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Wake Forest University and serves on the Board of Visitors for the Wake Forest School of Business.
