Barbara Valaperti is a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry's Paris office as well as the Firm's Rome office. She is a member of the Firm's Global Financial Services Market.
Ms. Valaperti leads European engagements in investment banking and private equity. Prior to her current position, she served as a senior partner at another leading executive search firm's London, Paris and Rome offices. There, she was a member of the global financial services practice coordinating the private equity European practice. Additionally, Ms. Valaperti worked predominantly on pan-European assignments, searching for top management professionals in the , corporate finance, capital markets, private equity and leverage finance arenas.
Earlier, Ms. Valaperti worked for Shearson Lehman Hutton in Paris where she spent two years in their corporate service department, working mainly on French privatizations. She began her career at Banque Sudameris, working in the banking department for three years and then becoming branch manager.
Ms. Valaperti is a graduate of l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
She is fluent in English, French and Italian.
