Bob Murtaugh

Bob excels at deeply understanding client needs. By thoroughly analyzing and uncovering core requirements, he ensures solutions are precisely tailored to each client's unique challenges

Prior to joining Salo/Korn Ferry, Bob spent nearly 14 years at Medtronic, most recently serving as the Finance Director of Contract Manufacturing. In this role, he oversaw $2B+ in purchased materials across 20 internal businesses, managed a team of 10, and collaborated with nearly every internal function. While at Medtronic, Bob also served as a Plant Controller, provided finance leadership to the Sales Organization, held a global FP&A role, and provided financial support to the R&D organization. Prior to Medtronic, Bob supported Staffing/Planning for Airport Operations at Northwest/Delta Airlines.

Bob holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas—Opus Business School and a BA from Saint John’s University. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his family, fishing the many various MN lakes, and cooking for family and friends.
