Hiroki joined Korn Ferry Japan as a Senior Client Partner in the Global Industrial Market, Executive Search Team in 2025.

At Korn Ferry Japan, he is particularly active in the Petrochemicals, Specialty chemicals such as Electronic materials, Semiconductor, Coating & Paints and Printing Inks, Agrochemicals, Automotive value-chain and Construction sectors.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he served as the Representative Director and President of BASF Japan Ltd. He began his career at BASF as a chemist in 1994 and held numerous positions and leadership roles across the organization in R&D, Technical Services, Marketing and Sales stationed in Germany, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong bringing a wealth of international insight and expertise.

With over 30 years of distinguished experience in the chemical industry and its value chain, he has led strategic initiatives such as capital investment project, international M&A, key account management, organizational development.

Hiroki is unwavering in his belief that the power of Chemistry and Materials will further enrich the world and our daily lives.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the Kitasato University.

In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, working out at the gym, and going to the countryside.
