Hiroki Ishida is a Senior Client Partner in the Global Industrial Market, Executive Search Team, based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Hiroki served as the Representative Director and President of BASF Japan Ltd. He began his career at BASF as a chemist in 1994 and held numerous positions and leadership roles across the organization in R&D, Technical Services, Marketing and Sales stationed in Germany, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong bringing a wealth of international insight and expertise. With over 30 years of distinguished experience in the chemical industry and its value chain, he has led strategic initiatives such as capital investment project, international M&A, key account management, organizational development.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the Kitasato University.
In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, working out at the gym, and going to the countryside.
