Joanne Yu

Joanne has provided executive placement and leadership advisory services for both global and Chinese financial institutions, including Asset Managers, Global Banking, Insurance and Securities. She also has rich experience in serving Alternative Investments related talent needs, including Hedge Funds and real estate clients. She has deep understandings of both MNC and Chinese culture difference and is highly experienced in identifying the best fit solutions for her clients.

She has helped leading global and local Financial clients placed senior roles including CEO, CFO, Managing Director and Board members.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Joanne worked with another global leadership advisory firm as a core member in the Financial sector. Earlier in her career, she served as an Associate Partner at IBM and Senior Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), focusing on the Financial Services sector.

Joanne holds an MBA degree from INSEAD, an EMBA degree from Tsinghua PBCSF, and a Bachelor’s degree from Zhengzhou University.
