Ashlyn Lowe is a Senior Principal of CEO & Executive Succession at Korn Ferry. An industrial-organizational psychologist by training, she brings deep expertise in understanding human behavior in the workplace, specifically through assessment and development.
Ashlyn partners with her clients to align CEO & executive succession and progression planning with the long-term strategic needs of their organizations. She is known for quickly understanding and distilling complex information and connecting the dots to identify the most impactful themes for leadership assessment and development. She additionally translates her critical thinking and deep knowledge of people in the workplace to support her clients with executive team and board effectiveness.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ashlyn was an Engagement Leader for another global executive search and leadership advisory firm in their CEO & Board and Assessment & Development practices. She was responsible for leading engagements with boards and CEOs to facilitate CEO succession planning and board alignment. She also led leadership assessments and senior team coaching across industries and was an active member of the firm’s global philanthropic committee.
Prior to that, she worked for a boutique consulting firm as a Consultant in their behavioral transformation practice. Her work focused on behavioral science and spanned across assessment center facilitation, executive team coaching, DE&I analytics, and organizational & operating model design. She was also an active member of the firm’s DE&I Committee.
Ashlyn works with clients across a variety of industries, including Industrial, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Consumer, Financial Services, Technology, and Professional Services, and has partnered with organizations of varying structures and sizes including Fortune 500, Founder-led, ESOP, Family-owned, Public, and Private.
Ashlyn has presented on her research at various conferences throughout her career. Most notably, she presents on how to bridge academic study with practical application at the annual Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology conference, specifically focused on leadership assessment, succession planning, team dynamics and advanced analytical methods.
Ashlyn earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Additionally, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University.
