As a Managing Consultant, Ian specializes in aligning the goals of law firms with the ambitions of the associates and partners he represents. 

With a background in psychology and human motivation, Ian builds relationships that lead to long-term placements—not just a candidate’s “next step.” With over 90% of his placements still at their firms four years later, his track record speaks for itself and underscores the lasting value he brings to both clients and candidates.

Ian recruits nationally across all practice areas, with a particular focus on Intellectual Property. His unique blend of analytical precision and a background in film and television performance allows him to fully embrace the role of trusted advisor. He provides concierge-level service throughout the recruiting process—from interview preparation and offer negotiation to guiding attorneys on how to give notice professionally and respectfully.

Originally from the Midwest, Ian maintains strong ties to firms throughout the region. He earned his degree cum laude from the University of Arizona.

Outside of work, Ian channels his perfectionist nature into building furniture and tackling home renovation projects—from plumbing to flooring.
