Jay Koranda is a seasoned military recruiting leader and workforce consultant with over 25 years of experience advising transitioning military servicemembers and veterans, and partnering with a wide range of companies to align military talent with workforce demands.
He currently serves as a Management Consultant in Korn Ferry’s Military Division, where he supports clients across the aerospace, automation, datacenter, energy, manufacturing, medical, and semiconductor industries in building high-performing teams through veteran hiring strategies.
Before joining Korn Ferry, Jay spent over two decades with a leading military recruiting firm, where he led national hiring initiatives, managed large-scale hiring conferences, and developed customized recruitment solutions across a range of technical disciplines. Known for his consultative style and ability to bridge military and business cultures, he has guided thousands of transitioning military servicemembers and veterans into impactful careers while helping employers address critical talent gaps.
Jay is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served 12 years as an Electronics Technician supporting aviation and shipboard operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development and remains actively engaged in advancing veteran employment initiatives.
