Stephan Solon is a Managing Consultant, Consumer Sports, Entertainment and Media, in Korn Ferry’s Professional Search practice. He partners with leagues, teams, sports-adjacent companies, and emerging ventures to recruit transformative leaders and build high-performing teams.

With more than 15 years of experience in executive search, talent acquisition, and organizational leadership, Mr. Solon brings a unique blend of industry expertise, commercial acumen, and bilingual fluency in French and English. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he led his own advisory firm, serving as a trusted partner to senior executives across major North American sports leagues and teams — including the NBA, NWSL, MLB, NHL, and NFL — and serving as a senior advisor to the NBA during a revamp of its Talent Acquisition function. His client partnerships also extend to companies at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and media.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Solon served as Managing Director at two publicly traded search firms, specializing in accounting, finance, and technology. Known for driving regional growth and branch turnarounds, he built and led teams of more than 20 search professionals while delivering talent solutions to Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Solon works with organizations to create environments where women leaders can thrive, championing inclusive hiring practices and the principles of “growth hiring” to unlock untapped potential in the talent market. He has presented at the PRO Sports Assembly Retreat and the Women Leaders in Sports Convention, and is recognized for his ability to align talent strategy with business performance while fostering diverse leadership across the sports and entertainment landscape.
