Bernd’s vision is to serve life sciences organizations to recruit, develop and transform leaders who deliver extraordinary results. 

He builds trust by understanding clients’ needs based on his more than twenty years of hands-on leadership experience in R+D, manufacturing, marketing and sales in the life sciences and MedTech industry.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he worked six years in a leading Swiss boutique recruitment firm as Head Life Sciences & Diagnostics. His role was to advise multinational corporations, SME’s, start-ups, public and private research laboratories regarding their organizational needs. He recruited key positions such as CXO, Business Development, Commercial Operations & Sales, Research & Development, Medical & Scientific Affairs, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, (Digital) Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Customer Service.

Bernd studied physics at the University of Konstanz, Germany. As a Fulbright scholar, he lived and studied in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Thereafter, he did his PhD at Paul Scherrer Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, which was awarded with the Prix Omega Scientifique.

In addition to German and English, he also speaks French and Spanish.
