Associate Client Partner
Colbert Boyd is an Associate Client Partner in the firm’s CEO and Enterprise Leadership Development practice.
Mr. Boyd is an innovative leader who brings over 15 years of experience in leadership development and executive coaching across a variety of industries including retail, healthcare, energy, technology, entertainment, financial services and non-profit. He’s a trusted partner with a keen focus on creating value and positive change.
Prior to this role, he was the president of Ceviant Coaching where he managed client relationships and coached executives to achieve key personal and professional goals. He facilitated executive alignment meetings on key strategic goals and initiatives. He was also on staff in the Leadership Development Office (LDO) at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In the LDO, he coached students as well as designed and managed leadership workshops and programs. His impactful learning experiences consistently received the highest student rating.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Boyd was a merchant for a fortune 50 company where he analyzed product portfolios of brands owned by the company to assess their financial viability. He has also held financial management positions partnering with business leaders managing budgets and prioritizing projects.
He is an Institute of Coaching Fellow who is experienced at delivering the Hogan suite of assessments and host of Korn Ferry assessments.
Mr. Boyd holds a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
