In this role, Dave is responsible for expanding the Professional Search business into the Aviation, Aerospace and Defense and Government businesses across all Centers of Excellence:  Corporate Affairs, Digital, Cyber Security, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Risk, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain and Technology.

Specific to his sectors, Dave has successfully completed search assignments with a focus on General Management/Operations, Engineering/Technology, Supply Chain/ Contracting and Sales & Marketing.

His Aerospace and Defense client portfolio includes: Elbit Systems of America, Sarcos, Howmet, General Dynamics, Honeywell, Siemens, SpaceX, Boeing, Orbit Fab, Space Flight, RUAG, Airbus, Northrop Grumman / Orbital ATK, Raytheon, L3Harris, Maxar, ViaSat, Circor, Precision Castparts, GKN, Cobham, General Atomics and Pratt & Whitney.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Bakkeby’s corporate experience included extensive business development and enterprise program development at TargetCW, an innovator contingent workforce technology, and Orion Talent, the leader in Military Talent and an HRO Baker’s Dozen Recruiting Process Outsourcing leader.

Mr. Bakkeby started his career as a Marine Officer.

Mr. Bakkeby graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting, and he holds an Masters in Science of Administration with a focus on Human Resources from Central Michigan University. He is actively involved in Military ministries and Military transition programs in the San Diego community.
