Previously, he was a Senior Client Partner in the UK & EMEA Board Practice wholly focused upon Chair, NED and CEO searches and related advisory work. Prior to this, David led the firm’s European Industrial Practice building leadership teams and advising on Main Board and Executive Committee positions.

Before entering the executive search profession, his career included some six years in the Army. He then joined ICI Plc, which was then a FTSE 50 international chemicals and paints company. 

Thereafter he spent several years with KPMG in their Management Consulting division.

His clients are largely from a broad range of manufacturing and related services sectors including Aerospace & Defense, Building Products, Construction, Chemicals, Distribution, Electronics, Engineering, Minerals & Mining, Paper & Packaging, Support Services, Technology, Food, Energy and Utilities.

He specializes in Chair, Non-Executive Director, CEO and CFO appointments across the FTSE 100, 250, small cap and AIM as well as privately owned and private equity backed companies.
