Don is a Senior Managing Director at Patina – A Korn Ferry Company and has been with the company since 2014. After 30+ years in the industry, he has worked to be his clients’ trusted business adviser, and collaboratively builds compelling organizational solutions. He is skilled in communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences and delivering customer focused solutions.
Don brings energy and a positive perspective to solving business needs. Good listening skills, a service-orientated approach, and creativity are the key ingredients he seeks to inject into every relationship. With a technical degree and an MBA, Don is able to approach business challenges with a whole-brained approach and is equally comfortable with technical, business and creative elements.
His client partners include organizations in Manufacturing, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Healthcare Insurance, Consumer Products, and Food & Beverage.
Don began his career in commercial architecture, then joined global Tier 1 automotive supplier, Johnson Controls, with almost 20 years in customer-facing roles including program management and business development. He also had his own consulting firm for three years before joining Patina.
Don has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Tech University, a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Western Michigan University, and is Board Certified in healthcare management as a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
