Erin Yousey

Erin Yousey is a Principal with Korn Ferry Advisory, based in the firm’s New York, NY office focused on North American Industrial & Energy Markets.

Erin partners with executives and senior leaders to align people strategy with organizational strategy. She brings a critical and systematic approach to her work and can apply her own experiences in the principles of teamwork and leadership to drive sustainable organizational performance and the development and execution of cultural transformations.

She works across the array of Korn Ferry Advisory, delivering leadership development, strategic digital integration solutions, DE&I diagnostics, future of remote work models, and providing engagement management expertise for the suite of assessment solutions. Erin also delivers leadership assessments and interview based 360s, providing feedback for individuals and aggregated reporting to better understand team dynamics.

Erin specializes in collaborating with top teams to better understand their team purpose and direction, delivering specialized solutions to executives in organizations that span manufacturing, engineering, aviation, aerospace, and defense. 

Erin earned her Master of Business Administration from The Carey Business School at  Johns Hopkins University.  She also received her Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy, majoring in Engineering.

In 2016, she received the Peace and Security from a Gender Perspective Certificate presented by the Inter-Defense College in Washington, DC.

Erin brings over twelve years of experience as a member of the US Navy where she supported combat flight operations as a senior instructor and mission commander on the P3 Orion. 

Erin also supported the Navy’s Diversity and Inclusion policy efforts where she designed the congressionally mandated report to validate all operational standards, subsequently leading to the Navy’s recommendation to open all previously closed combat occupations to the assignment of women.

Erin served as a White House Social Aide, providing protocol support under the Obama Administration, during which time she was responsible for escorting foreign dignitaries and facilitating introductions to the President.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Erin worked in the government sector.  As the Navy’s Ballistic Missile Defense Liaison, she drove large scale operational capabilities and budgeting with all agencies in support of development and fielding of the Ballistic Missile Defense System.
