Senior Client Partner, APAC

Eugene works with senior leaders to design and implement integrated human capital solutions from business strategy and organization design to culture transformation and change management. 

Mr. Chang also specializes in the design and facilitation of high-impact global and regional leadership programs that incorporate assessment feedback, business simulations and executive coaching for senior leaders and high-potentials of some of the globe’s most recognizable brands.

At the industry level, Mr. Chang has also led complex public sector studies providing strategic recommendations for Singapore’s Process Supporting Industry and the Logistics Sector Manpower Plan – both of which were presented at the ministerial level.

Eugene has more than 20 years starting up, managing and advising businesses in the APAC region. He started his career with Hewlett Packard in IT. Later, he co-foundered a network of 30 smoothie outlets franchised across 4 cities; he was recognized with the Spirit of Enterprise Award 2003 honoring local entrepreneurs. 

He is the founding architect behind Singapore’s national human capital organizational diagnostics tool, a multi-agency initiative deployed to over 800 companies in 28 sectors. He also developed a second national-level accreditation framework that recognizes organizations for practices and outcomes in disability-inclusive employment.

Eugene set up the Korn Ferry Academy in 2020 with deep government and industry partnerships offering scalable programs to certify Future-Ready HR Professionals and Business Managers. He is the current serving Dean.

Eugene earned his Bachelors in Computer Science from Boston University in 1994 and an Executive MBA from INSEAD in 2010. He received an Executive Diploma in Directorship from Singapore Management University in 2014. He completed the ICF recognized Professional Certified Coach certification from Executive Coaching International in 2017 and HR Management and Analytics certificate from The Wharton School in August 2020. He also volunteers as a member on the HR Committee for the Singapore Film Festival (SGIFF) Board of Directors.
