Garth brings 20 years of business management and leadership consulting experience to his client partnerships. His experience in the United Kingdom involved working in dynamic, client-focused teams supporting marquee accounts across EMEA in design and execution of leadership development, talent management and assessment & succession interventions and programmes. This work spanned a variety of industries across both the public and private sectors with particular focus on Industrial, Financial Services, FMCG, Technology and ICT sectors. His client delivery experience extends across various markets and regions including the U.K. and Ireland as well as multiple EU countries. Since his return to South Africa he has widened his client networks even further into the Middle East and APAC regions and he has extensive client engagement and delivery experience in East Africa, West Africa and across various Sub-Saharan Africa countries.

Garth partners with organisations to design and deliver leadership solutions that are strategically aligned and create conditions for positive change and progression toward the desired future culture state. He brings extensive experience in content creation and programme design, primarily centred around the candidate experience and application of new skills, learnings and insights into leadership roles and everyday life. He is a dynamic, charismatic and engaging facilitator  who creates optimal conditions for learning – appreciating that everyone experiences situations and learns differently. His experience in leadership programme delivery and facilitation is broad - spanning across multiple levels of leadership including top team effectiveness, executive and senior leaders, middle management and first-line / supervisory leadership cohorts.

Garth is accredited across a range of Korn Ferry’s Advisory service lines with a key focus on leadership development, culture transformation, psychometric assessment and profiling (including client ‘success profile’ development), talent management & succession planning, employee engagement, competency model framework review and development, data analytics insights &  ROI reporting, emotional intelligence certification training, feedback and coaching.

He is especially proud to have partnered with esteemed professors Dr Daniel Goleman and Dr Richard Boyatzis (global thought leaders and authors on topics relating to Leadership and Emotional Intelligence) in publishing research validating the relationship between leadership styles, team climate impact and emotional and social intelligence competencies.

Garth holds an Honours Degree in Organisational Psychology (Business Science, University of Cape Town, South Africa) and is registered as a certified practitioner with the British Psychological Society with Level A and Level B accreditation (RQTU Membership no: 296145).
