Mr. van Vijfeyken works with HR and Business leaders to improve organizational effectiveness. He is specialized in building job and career development platforms, often times in relation to re-structuring or M&A. Mr. van Vijfeyken is predominantly focussed on international clients in the consumer products and retail sectors as well as on the executive population across sectors.
Mr. van Vijfeyken acts as international expert in the field of job grading using the Korn Ferry Hay Method of Job Evaluation and is recognized as such by his clients. He has the ability to translate his extensive experience into simple and fit-for-purpose solutions. A specific passion of him is to build and/or modernize work & career architectures using the Korn Ferry Digital platform. His style can be characterized as no-nonsense, insightful, result-driven and efficient.
Before joining Korn Ferry in 2006, Mr. van Vijfeyken has been working as a management consultant in the educational sector.
He holds a Master in International Business Studies from the Maastricht University in the Netherlands. He followed part of his Master at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Grenoble (France). Mr. van Vijfeyken holds a PhD from the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The title of his PhD thesis was “Managing Team Performance: Interdependence, goals and rewards”.
