As a consultant, Helmut is frequently supporting and working with a wide range of companies from different business sectors with headquarters in Germany, Switzerland and Austria in doing so cooperating with Boards of Directors, Management Boards and Corporate HR.
Helmut works across most areas of the Korn Ferry consulting business and has particular expertise in organizational development, job measurement, job grading and reward strategy development and implementation.
Helmut led several national and international projects helping clients to develop and implement new business structures and/or new grading and compensation systems based on job analysis and job evaluation, especially following-up phases of restructuring and M&As. Helmut cooperates on a regular basis with senior management members including Boards of Directors, CEOs, and other executive committee members as well as owners of family-owned businesses. Moreover, he has substantial experience leading and participating in international project teams consisting of Korn Ferry colleagues and/or employees of clients.
Helmut holds a PhD in engineering. Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 1990, Helmut was research engineer and team leader R&D at an institute for heavy engineering. At Korn Ferry, he started his career as consultant and is now a Senior Client Partner of Korn Ferry based in the firms Zurich and Berlin offices. Throughout the years, he held several internal leadership positions such as office manager, head of client service center, and/or business unit head - since 2002, Helmut was responsible for leading and developing Korn Ferry's business in Switzerland. Moreover, he acts as key account manager of global Korn Ferry clients.
