Jim Bourke is a Principal Consultant within Korn Ferry’s Advisory Assessment and Succession practice and is based in San Francisco. 

Mr. Bourke brings a diversity of organizational development experience with a focus on helping organizations identify and nurture leadership potential. He brings a unique style of coaching and facilitation that emphasizes experiential learning, thus maximizing key stakeholder ownership and engagement. He has supported numerous initiatives across the talent spectrum, from success profiling, to talent selection, development, succession planning, leadership assessment and executive  coaching. He specializes in enabling and certifying clients in assessment solution design, interpretation, feedback delivery, and ongoing development.

He spends much of his time working with executive leaders across industries but retains a focus in High Tech, Entertainment Media, Health Care, Life Sciences, and Financial Services.

As a founding member of Korn Ferry’s Shared Assessment Services team Mr. Bourke’s talent management approach is grounded in his expertise across a wide variety of psychometric tools and their role in identifying leadership potential

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Bourke served as an organizational development consultant, facilitator, and executive coach for Dallas-based Bourke Associates.

Mr. Bourke earned a master’s degree in organizational development from the University of San Francisco. He is a certified trainer and facilitator with the Institute of Cultural Affairs, graduate of the Coaches Training Institute, and earned a bachelor of arts degree in music from Syracuse University.

He resides in San Francisco with his wife and son and enjoys welding, playing guitar, travelling, and hiking in the rolling hills of wine country.
