Ms. McGee is an experienced business leader and management consultant. Her recent career includes over fifteen years in executive roles, with both a US-based and a major European human capital consulting firm, in which she also led senior client delivery. She set up and ran a leadership consulting business within one of Europe's publicly held recruitment firms. She has worked with clients across all sectors, from global, FTSE 100 firms to fast-growing AIM listed and PE-backed companies.
During three years in the public sector, she worked with the Board to lead culture and brand transformation within one of the UK's largest forensic mental health NHS trusts.
Ms. McGee leads Advisory services in the UK Board Practice. She has particular expertise in executive development, senior team effectiveness and culture transformation. She has coached individuals and teams extensively, particularly when they are facing transition, or making strategic shifts in the face of market disruption.
Her approach activates the sense of purpose and personal motivation to change, that enables leaders and businesses to surpass new challenges.
She has spoken at CBI and CIPD events, and written for the IoD, ICAEW and TES on leadership topics. She is qualified at BPS Level A, and also in the use of 16PF, MBTI®, Hogan HPI, HDS and MVPI, ViaEdge and KFALP.
In her earlier career, Ms. McGee worked in various commercial leadership roles in the telecommunications and technology sector.
Ms. McGee holds post graduate diploma in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a first class honours degree in English Language and Literature from Southampton University.
She is a trustee of a women's refuge charity.
