Maaza is a Managing Consultant with Global Education & Consumer Practice, based in Gurgaon. With over fifteen years of executive search experience, she has led leadership hiring and succession mandates across Education, Consumer, Social Impact, Not-for-Profit, and EdTech sectors.
Her experience spans a wide range of academic, non-academic, functional, commercial, and business leadership roles, enabling her to manage complex search assignments from market mapping through candidate assessment and appointment.
At Korn Ferry, Maaza leads the Education Practice in India and works closely with K-12 institutions, higher education organizations, EdTech companies, government bodies, and nonprofit organizations on senior leadership appointments. She also partners with consumer-sector clients, supporting leadership hiring across commercial, functional, and business-critical roles. Her deep understanding of both sectors allows her to advise clients on talent strategy and build high-performing leadership teams in rapidly evolving environments.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Maaza worked with a global executive search firm, where she was responsible for building and expanding the firm's education practice in India. Earlier in her career, she worked in talent acquisition at a leading private university, providing her with first-hand insight into institutional talent needs and academic leadership hiring.
Maaza holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and an MBA in International Business from Amity University.
