Marcel advises pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, medical technology, and digital health organizations on critical leadership and talent decisions, helping them secure senior leaders who drive performance in complex, high‑pressure environments.

With over a decade in Professional and Executive Search, he applies a structured, evidence‑based approach to leadership assessment that reduces hiring risk. His understanding of decision‑making and organizational dynamics enables clients to make confident senior appointments, particularly during scale‑up, transformation, or periods of significant change.

Prior to Korn Ferry, Marcel spent eleven years with a leading international search and leadership advisory firm, where he held senior roles and helped build and scale the Life Sciences practice across the DACH region. He has a strong track record placing senior talent across Commercial, Scientific, Operational, Quality, and Corporate functions for clients ranging from emerging biotechs to global market leaders.

He holds a degree in psychology and an MBA in General Management, forming the foundation of his work in executive assessment and leadership evaluation and is fluent in German and English.

Outside of work, he enjoys board and strategy games, using them as a lens to explore human behavior, decision-making, and leadership dynamics.
