Michaela Buttler is an Associate Principal at Korn Ferry, based in the firm’s Atlanta, GA office. In her role, Michaela serves as an Executive Career Coach and Engagement Manager, where she leverages her extensive experience in leadership and strategic planning and operations to drive organizational success.
Previously, Michaela was the Director of Operations for Chick-fil-A, Inc., a pioneer in customer service for over 75 years. In this capacity, she led cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence.
Michaela also serves on the board for the Ashton Keegan Hope Foundation and is an active member of the Alumni Association for the University of North Georgia. Prior to her tenure at Chick-fil-A, Michaela was the Coordinator for Orientation & Transfer Programs at the University of North Georgia. She oversaw logistics, curriculum development, and coordination of comprehensive new and transfer student programs, parent and family orientation sessions, and transition programs across five campuses. Her leadership in this role earned her the “Rookie of the Year” Award for the division of Student Affairs.
Michaela's early career includes an internship with the President of the John Maxwell Company in Atlanta, GA, and a role as Events Coordinator for the Venture Café in Boston, MA. These experiences provided her with a strong foundation in event management and strategic planning.
Michaela is an ACC level accredited coach through the International Coaching Federation and holds a Master’s of Science in International Business with a concentration in Project Management from Hult International Business School, where she studied in Boston, Shanghai, and London. She graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Management and a minor in Organizational Leadership from the University of North Georgia.
