Mike LoRusso

Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Mike LoRusso is a Senior Vice President for Korn Ferry based in New Jersey.

As the Chief Information Officer, Mr. LoRusso is responsible for driving development and execution of the corporate technology strategy for the firm, to include enterprise systems and processes as well as the technology infrastructure running client solutions.  He is accountable for all aspects of the firm’s cybersecurity posture and ensuring data privacy protections are effective. He is also responsible for business continuity and resilience to ensure employees remain safe and productive under abnormal circumstances while maintaining service to clients.

Mr. LoRusso brings to Korn Ferry 25+ years of global technology and process leadership experience with a broad operational background in both the public and military sectors. His expertise spans digital transformation, application development, cybersecurity, infrastructure operations, data governance, functional shared services, and audits/compliance.

Prior to Korn Ferry, Mr. LoRusso was the CIO and Head of Shared Services at Embecta Corp., a pure-play medical device company, where he formed a new team to drive the IT and back-office stand-up and separation following their spin-off from Becton Dickinson and Company (BD).  Previous to that, he held various technology leadership positions at large public organizations including BD, JPMorgan Chase and General Electric. He began his career serving eight years on active duty as a United States Navy officer, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander as a reserve officer.  

Mr. LoRusso earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Rhode Island.
